So I spent a few hours the other night online just looking for the people who I think of in my head when I draw some of the GLS.
Anyone out there have any ideas of who they think of, or would like to see fill the boots of our favorite ring slingers? Im especially curious about guys like Ion and Arisia.
Id love to see what anyone comes up with. So.....GO!

Josh Duhamel (VEGAS) or Ryan Reynolds seemed like good possibilities for Kyle Rayner.
For Arisia, I hate to say this, but Paris Hilton seems a good fit, at least physically.

I see Roselyn Sanchez as Soranik Natu. She carries that uptight air about her with an underlying concern that I see in Natu.

I rather like Janine Turner from Northern Exposure as Soranik Natu, although I suppose that she'd be getting a bit long in the tooth by now.
And I can see Justin Hartly, the guy who played Green Arrow on Smallville as Guy. Dye his hair red and give him a black turtleneck. He has that Joe Staton jawline.
Do you have a character that is overweight, accident prone and darn handsome? :)

I definitely think that with the build and the haircut, Guy takes
after Matt Damon in the Bourne movies -- maybe a little less squinty
and morose, but Guy definitely strikes me as the sort of guy who'd fit
in yelling at the Yankees in a Boston sports bar, in any case. Rosario
Dawson seems to suit Natu, if only for the expressive face (and she
does a great 'incredulous' expression, which I figure Natu gives other
Lanterns more often than most). And in contrast, Iolande comes across
like she could be played by Shilpa Shetty, the Bollywood star. Kyle
Rayner seems like Jim Sturgess (the English kid from Across the
Universe), young, unblemished, and looking for all the world like a
dreamer.
Oh, and Laurence Tierney as Kilowog.
The GLC #25 cover looks absolutely amazing, by the way. I can't wait
for your next issue to hit.

I'm pretty horrible at casting characters but for some reason I could see Scott Caan as Guy Gardner.

Kyle Rayner: Adam Rodriguez
Soranik Natu: Janine Turner works
Vath Sarn: John Cena
Jeez! Kyle looks so awesome in that shot. I don't know what it is, but there's something about that pose and the way he's got his head tilted that just makes him look like such a badass.
As to the casting, I saw a guy once who I thought would be the perfect Kyle, and now I can't remember who it was.
I like the ideas put forth here previously of Rosario Dawson as Soranik Natu, Rachel Leigh Cook as Arisia, and Matt Damon as Guy.
I say just use any model from a GQ ad. It will be funny to see all these GL's looking so pretty. LOL
Really though, I think it would be interesting if there was a Bruce Willis one, or one that looked like Mark Hoppus (blink182), I dont know.
